Effects on ability to drive and use machines:

No effects on the ability to drive and use machines have been performed.

The main symptoms of overdose or overuse are acute abdominal pain and severe diarrhea leading to fluid and electrolyte losses that need to be replenished (diarrhea might especially cause loss of potassium). Hypokalaemia might lead to cardiac performance disorders and reduce muscle power, especially when cardiac gylcosides, diuretics corticosteroids or preparations from liquorice root are taken simultaneously.
