12 Rectal Suppositories
German chamomile (Matricaria chamomilla, Flower) soft extract (3:1) - 50 mg
Belladonna (Atropa belladonna, Root) soft extract (4:1) - 20 mg
Soft extract (4:1) composed of: Scotch broom (Cytisus scoparius, Herb), Horse-chestnut (Aesculus hippocastanum, Cortex), Tormentil (Potentilla erecta, Rhizome), Yarrow (Achillea millefolium, Herb) - 80 mg
Benzocaine - 100 mg
Recommended Use or Purpose:
Helps relieve the discomfort and/or itching associated with hemorrhoids, anorectal disorders, inflamed hemorrhoidal tissues, anorectal inflammation, hemorrhoidal tissues or piles. For the temporary relief of pain, soreness or burning.
Adults: Administer rectally 1 suppository at night.
Cleanse the affected area with mild soap and warm water and rinse thoroughly by patting or blotting with an appropriate cleansing pad. Gently dry by patting or blotting with toilet tissue or a soft cloth before application of this product. Partially peel back wrapper, hold suppository through wrapper and insert into rectum.
Discontinue use if Hypersensitivity to any of the active substances and to other plants in asteraceae, compositae and sapindaceae family occurs. Do not use in cases of Neoplastic diseases.
Duration of Use:
The suppositories should be applied until pain related complaints withdraw, however, not longer than 7 consecutive days.
Known Adverse Reactions:
Pruritus or flare appearance is possible. In case of allergic or intensification of the disease symptoms discontinue application of the preparation and consult a physician.
Cautions and Warnings:
Consult a healthcare practitioner before taking product. Do not apply during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Do not administer to children. Keep out of reach of children. If symptoms worsen or persist, consult healthcare practitioner. Stop use and consult a healthcare practitioner if the following symptoms appear: weakness, confusion, headache, difficulty breathing and/or pale, gray or blue coloured skin as these may be signs of methemoglobinemia, a rare disorder, which may appear up to 2 hours after use. Use smallest amount possible to achieve desired result. Do not use if allergic to benzocaine or any other ingredient in the product. Avoid contact with eyes; if this happens, rinse thoroughly with water. If recurrent diarrhoea or bloody stools occur, consult a qualified healthcare practitioner. Some people may experience headache, dizziness, gastric irritation, or itchiness. Do not exceed the recommended daily dosage, unless directed by a physician. In case of bleeding, consult a physician promptly. In case of large hemorrhoids compression pain can be felt until dissolution of the suppository (about 5 - 10 minutes). If the introduction of the suppository into the rectum causes additional pain, consult a physician promptly. Do not use in large or continuous doses. Do not use in cases of glaucoma. Discontinue use and consult a healthcare practitioner if dry mouth, pupil dilation, increased pulse rate, flushing, increased respiratory rate, increased blood pressure, disorientation, delirium, difficult urination, urinary urgency, eye pain, blurred vision, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, or weakness occurs. Consult a physician in case of finding blood in your stool. Do not use in cases of high blood pressure, acute kidney disorder, or in cases of spleen or liver disorder. Do not use in cases of A-V (Atroventricular) block.
